Small Molecule Could Alleviate Acetaminophen-Induced Liver Injury

Acetaminophen overdose is the main cause of acute liver injury in the U.S. Now, researchers say a small molecule could treat acetaminophen-induced liver injury. In mice, it decreased liver inflammation and prevented further damage. The researchers will present their results at ACS Fall 2025.
