Optimal Pricing Strategies and Social Welfare of a Diabetic Pharmaceutical Supply Chain under Supply Disruption Risk

With the frequent occurrence of public health emergencies and supply chain disruptions, the stability and efficiency of pharmaceutical supply chains (PSCs) have become critical issues, especially for drugs essential to chronic diseases like diabetes. Diabetic patients rely heavily on continuous access to medications to control blood glucose levels, yet supply disruptions--caused by factors such as natural disasters, pandemics, or supplier unreliability--pose severe threats to drug availability, patient safety, and social welfare. However, research on optimal pricing strategies and social welfare optimization for diabetic pharmaceutical supply chains under different power structures and supply disruption risks remains insufficient.
