A 'Game Changer' for Severe Depression That Cuts Treatment Time in Half

Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) has proved to be a very effective non-invasive treatment for people with severe depression who have not had success with medication. But traditional TMS has one significant drawback: time. A specialized, accelerated form of TMS now allows patients to complete treatment in about three weeks instead of six.
